I looked for a more traditional Guild pickguard and found it here.

As you can see, they have a few pickguards. :wink:

Patience, an ultra-thin putty knife, and a good hair dryer and the ugly GAD pickguard came off easily. Then a little Goof-off to remove the residual glue and it was ready for the new. :wink:

Much better than either the Epi or the first GAD30.
This thing rings and the sustain is impressive.
Different strings, different guitar, different ears....
....maybe the pickguard? :wink:
