Glenn is going to pass on this guitar, at least for now, so it is still available.

Folks, let's keep FS/FT threads focused and free of discussion of other guitars/purchases. I have deleted quite a few posts in here, and my apologies to Mark for letting this get so far afield. Anyway, bump for a fine axe with tremendous LTG history.

Giving this posting a self-serving bump to the top . . . I'll keep this listing on LTG for another week before trying other venues.

I get the impression you are stockpiling for something big..... Or you just love to collect.. I am more than impressed with your lineup..

And Richard has some intriguing rarer Guild models: The D30 Ten Orange, the G41, the D46. All interesting uncommon Guild dreads. If he can get a G75 and a F612, I think he wins.

Well, I'm pleased to say I am 4 for 4 on buying gear on the LTG site. Each transaction has been smooth as silk and each seller has been stand-up in every way. Great communications, excellent packaging, fair price etc.etc.

I can say with great confidence geoguy is great to deal with. I'm going to try very hard to hang onto this one. I've had numerous Guild 12's in the past and ended up selling them all because they are such a pita in so many ways. BUT, they also sound like a choir of angels so I'm gonna try hard to get past all that and play the heck out of this one.

I think this one 12 string may well be enough for me but who the heck knows. I am pretty sure I remember saying that other times as well.

I'm glad that you like the guitar, Richard. Time for me to figure out how to send a donation to LTG-owner Don.

And many thanks for the compliments . . . I also enjoyed working with you on this sale!

it took me awhile to find the link to make a donation after I sold my f-312, look in Members Cove, LTGers Only, sticky at the top.

Available for resale at the $850 price I paid plus shipping (let's say $50). So, all in price of $900. It really is a great guitar and trust me, it's not the guitar, it's me. I've tried probably a dozen times or so to bond with a 12 string and I just can't. Most likely in my head but it is what it is I guess. For a vintage 12 string, it really is in fine shape. I just have a couple other guitars I am searching for and will need to raise some cash to pay for them. This will be part of that. If it doesn't sell, no problems, I'll be happy to keep it and just keep trying.

I'm just going to put it out there to the LITG community using the listing geoguy first started. He's got much better pics than I can ever come up with. I do have it on Reverb on the following link if you'd like to look at that:

Good luck with sale Richard. I have heard these are super Guild 12 strings. I believe it was Charliea who says they are very versatile and powerful 12s. One of his favorite 12 string models, and I think he solely focuses on the 12 string guitar.

And I hear you. In my mind I want to be a 12 string guy, so much volume and coolness. Alas, I am a 6 string dude. Glad it will go to an LTGer.

Charliea was actually referring to this very guitar with that comment. He sold it to the guy I purchased it from, & said that he later regretted letting it go.

I'm sorry it wasn't a good fit for you, Richard, & I wish you a speedy re-sale.
