I'm re-balancing my portfolio of toys, & have decided that I currently have too many guitars, & not enough rowing shells. So, I'll likely be posting a few guitars for sale the next few weeks.
Up first is a '78 G-312 that I purchased from former LTG-er CapnJuan, shortly before he passed away. John's review of this guitar is the second post in this link: http://letstalkguild.com/ltg/showthread.php?163332-G-312-LTG-Member-Review
Spruce top, lovely straight-grained rosewood back & sides. Neck is a chunky handful, frets are in good shape, & the action is 4/64-inch at the twelfth fret (at both E strings, in standard tuning). It has a few minor dings consistent with its age, but no cracks or other major defects that I can discern. This is a loud, chimey strummer!
Another LTG-er (charliea) owned this guitar prior to John, & he said that the owner prior to himself re-glued & shaved the bridge. As far as I can tell the action hasn't changed in the 4+ years that I've owned this guitar.
Price lowered 8/24/15 to $800 plus shipping in the lower 48. Three-day approval time, with round-trip shipping at buyer's expense.
Thanks for looking . . . here's some photos for your review.
