So I have not been active much here for awhile because I have to admit I've been on "the dark side"- i.e., mostly content with my '68 Gibson J50. In the back of my mind however, I was never fully comfortable with a Gibson.
So when I stumbled across Richard's '67 D40 Electric for sale, and he provided a very fair price for me- I felt I should grab it because I have long wanted an "E" model, and I'm thinking about playing live at some point in the near future.
So I grabbed it, and now I've got it and- I have to say it's probably my fave D40 of the several I've had (two from '66, another from '67, and a '68- along with a '67 D44). So my '68 J50 is now for sale.
