Yep! Them un-employment checks cash just as good as if I worked for the money!
Wishing the best to you and the other LTGers getting sucked under ... I'm financially butt-sore myself from spending too much time riding my own bench. Good luck. J

Pardon me gents ... carry on. cj

Re: 1982 M-80-Have a question for all you M-80 guy's!

What's up,
I have a 1981 M-80 that is black with no binding on it. The paint is aged and has that vintage cracking look but it is solid as a rock. I will post some pic's, don't have camera handy right now. But anyway when I first got the guitar there were some issues with it but minor set up really but the pick up rings were all cracked and volume knobs cracked and chipped. found out real fast that they were hard to find. I also found that the bridge pickup was a gibson humbucker. I replace them all with nickel plated rings that I molded for the contour and replaced with a Lollar Custom humbucker, I also replaced the bridge tone pot. Man the sound is amazing! Sounds so sweet and warm. Tight Lows whispering mids. This is by far the sweetest pick up I have ever heard. I love playing this beast and it has such a smooth buttery action. the only issue I still have is with the bridge. All the springs for the saddles were wasted so I replaced them with a beefy springs and now I am having a problem with getting the inntonation of my A string nailed down exactly and I have the saddle as far forward as it will go. I really do not want to change the action or the neck cause it is so perfect right now. Any suggestions or tips on these spring loaded saddles, Could my spring be to strong, I didn't have this problem with it when the spring was barely there. Any help will be appreciated. I will get some good pictures and post.

Cheers

Hello Twakeman,

Make a similar detail photo as this one of your bridge.

That way we might be able to see what the problem is. If there's something wrong I should be able to help you with the proper parts.

Sincerely,

Hans Moust
