Outstanding '91 Westerly Guild JF-65 12 String Guitar. Solid Spruce top, solid maple sides, figured maple back. Plenty of boom on the low end here, mildly brighter than my F-512, but not by much. This certainly has the volume to cover the room. Gorgeous instrument! One finish break off...

I go through 12-string guitars in the same way I do classical / nylon strings. Love having them, looking at them-especially this one (!) but not excelling or playing either enough to hold on to. A 12-string guitar should not be sitting it out as much as this 512 is. Outstanding condition. Best...

Absolutely right. Kind of a shame, though, I'd like to clean it up, restring, and just play it. Maybe easier to purchase new, but so expensive. I think the price on this ($2k) was fair. Would anyone recommend a luthier check / repair before returning it, with a partial refund? Luthier down here...

Local luthier thinks he can address it. Maybe it was during shipping. Wasn't packed very well.

Can anyone decipher the year of manufacture on this SN: CUB000297. And is the F-412 considerably brighter than the RW back F-512? Just wondering if there is some depth or rich tone on the bottom end. Thank you! Tom
