Tom, I'm wild-guessing that it's from the late 1980s, but is there a stamp on the neck block (inside the guitar)? Guild did that, although I think it was after your guitar's era (not at all sure). Also, is there anything other than the serial number on the back of the headstock?

Hans just dated it at 1991. Big help there, thank you. The block just has the model number.
