Ok, I have to tell an embarrassing story about that song.
I was recently moved out of my parents house, in an apartment with a friend from work. We had full time jobs and were working on a " sand rail " with an older guy we met through another worker. We found an old Super Beetle and a sand rail frame and removed the engine and suspension to build the thing. The song above was pretty popular at the time, in the mid 80s. One evening we get a call on the phone at our apartment from a pair of girls saying they saw us in a club and we started talking. At some point the song started playing at either the girls place or on the radio at our place and the girls asked if we might sing along. I look at my room mate and he kinda' nods a yes. Hey how often to girls call you up on the phone, right? We we give it a go. I don't recall how the phone call ends but we found out a short time later that the two girls were really two girls about 12 years old and were the daughters of the guy helping us with the sand rail build and they found our number on the counter at their house. I don't sing for strange girls on the phone anymore.
Here's a sand rail like we built.
