How do they maneuver? Pull on the beams? I would worry that would cause them to tip. I would hope that have crews with ropes attached to the " mattress " corners.
Well, to be fair, the wait staff did not seat anyone above where the work is being done. Safety first!
I'm sure you're right but I'm still not sitting out there till they're done. (I have a very strong sense of self preservation.)^ That's all just ornamental work being done, not structural. Guaranteed there are steel beams inside that stucco/concrete wrapping. Only thing wrong w/ that picture is the noise from below while folks above are dining.
That's what i was wondering..... how'd they get it out there?? YIKES!!But I would still like to see how they got the lift onto the barge!
You can see the plywood on the float the scissor lift is sitting on, plus another sheet that is sitting on the pool deck. I'm sure they just drove it on there w/ the plywood overlapping the float and pool deck. Either way, I don't like it. Those lifts are extremely heavy as they have to support 4-500+ lbs in the bucket while it's fully extended. I've done plent of work on indoor sky lifts and big outdoor bucket lifts. They sway quite a bit. I don't mind working w/ one...but would never ever get on THAT one!!That's what i was wondering..... how'd they get it out there?? YIKES!!
In Newark? My guess not, although I'm sure given the population of Jerseyites here, someone could tell you.Where was that? Look at those magnificent old houses! I wonder if they're still standing.
