Seals was a diabetic who eventually lost a leg to the disease and eventually, it killed him. His wife shot him in the face in 1997 for some reason, and he lost almost all his possessions in a fire. I once saw a video of Stewart playing Missionary Man (on MTV?) on an acoustic using his drinking glass as a slide while Annie sang. Very cool.
