I acquired this battered but functioning Guild S60-3/4 today. It's funky, it's weird, it's tiny. I can't find very much about them anywhere: build numbers, dates, history, anything. I'm guessing this is late 70s, maybe early 80s... but don't know anything beyond that.
I've got some work to do on it to bring it up to playability (the fingerboard is separated up to the 5th fret and needs to be removed and reglued, the finish is scabby so I'll clean and touch up w new lacquer, and the original tuning pegs are toast) but it'll be fun fun fun to play in the studio.
I'm thinking of stringing it light and tuning it up to ADGCEA or open C (GCGCEG) for studio magic overdubs.
Anyone have any info on this model????
