fortunately, this virus is not the spanish flu: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spanish_flu
My point wasn't to bring everyone down. Death is a part of life.... the very last part. Kat was an old woman and in quite a bit of pain. My point is doing extensive traveling these days when people are canceling cruises and flights and such things and getting stuck in nowhere South West Virginia and can't even get a Trailways bus out is a tad too scary to us to consider him going home at this time. Death isn't an emergency, it's the lack of an emergency. Appreciate the kind thoughts, though.... and now back to our usual banter, yes??
p.s. - I still can't get that "the onion" link to work......
Calm, but serious heads need to prevail here, that's all I'll say.
Tom, I figured that too. I think we all need to remember to keep everything in perspective. 50 years ago, the world I grew up in was a button push away from nuclear annihilation. Since then very little actually scares me any more. Calm, but serious heads need to prevail here, that's all I'll say.
Anyway, regardless of your opinions on the subject, I really hope everyone can enjoy a little levity for a bad situation.
