My newest acquisition of the 90s F30 with shorter scale and narrower nut may not be the ticker for me.
I played my F30R Standard (Rosewood, 1 3/4 nut, 25'5 scale length) against a Martin 000 hog ( Mahogany, 1 11/16 nut, 24.75 scale length) and as much as I like the Martin guitar I certainly prefer the F30R's wider nut and longer scale......even the tone and sound.
Oh boy, this is why you should buy a guitar when you can play it first or have previous experience / reference to the particular instrument.
Always wanted a Paul Simon style F30....Still waiting for 90s F30 to arrive and maybe I'll be surprised ...one can only hope.
