...there's Nova Scotia wildfires. I just stepped outside for a break and looking across the street noticed how hazy and even "foggy" it looked. Two breaths later, the back of my throat was burning and I started coughing. It had the unmistakable smell of burning wood. Back into the house and breaking out the asthma meds. Ugh.

It's really bad here today in central MA. Although I'm not smelling anything, it's as smoggy as I've ever seen it around here.

I just snapped this pic of the sun. Yes, it really looks like that. The sky is orange! In the 45 seconds it took, my eyes were burning and I was coughing. I think because I'm at an elevation of 1200 ft (366 m), the smoke is worse.

We've had a few weeks of super smoky summers for the last few years here in North Idaho due to the California and Washington forest fires. Yeah -- sucks!

Yesterday evening at my club. Yes, that's the sun. Air quality continues to be crappy today.

If it's outdoor work, James, that's a good decision. However, temperatures are cool. And, even if it's Beijing-style air quality, it still feels pretty comfortable and I'm not smelling much here in central MA. Anyway, wise move, my friend!
