No, that has nothing to do with Aspen Pitman.
It refers to evacuating atmosphere from the tube.

There was a short lived resumption of vacuum tubes at the former Mullard factory in Blackburn, England. The factory had moved to CRT production, but that market had been in decline and they were pretty much limited to a specialist computer monitor market, which was itself shrinking. Blackburn Microtech Solutions decided to apply their electron gun technology to thermionic valves and developed new tubes from scratch, with their initial designs being equivalent to the ECC series of dual small signal triodes. Production was delayed while they overcame problems with microphony and unfortunately the company went into administration only a few months after they hit the market. Unfortunately, the loss of their last CRT customer was too great a blow for the company to survive. Reviews suggested that they sounded great and they had plans to introduce power valves. The internal structure looked very different to traditional designs!

They really are great amps. I have a strong suspicion that all 6C10 tubes were made by GE regardless of marking.
I've read this before. At least one tube seller claims that both RCA 6C10 compactrons are rebranded Westinghouse and GEs, and that some GEs are rebranded Westinghouse tubes. Now I need to dig into my stash to compare.

I knew it would come to this.

Just talking with a shop owner recently who sells handbuilt amps, said he'd found a trove of RCA 6L6 tubes @ $60 each admittedly a bargain, but had sold them @ $400 each which is just insane, but this above?

Yep. I stocked up early. I've got a few sets of the small bottle Phillips 6L6GC when they were military surplus and cheap.

I was on the 6V6 bandwagon long before small amps became big, and stocked up at mom and pop electronics stores and hamfests. Got a lifetime supply of power tubes.

My preamp tubes are a little thinner than that, and are getting picked through. At least I've got all the NOS 12AT7 tubes I'll ever need.

All 7591 power tubes were made by Sylvania and rebranded for other companies, so not unusual.
