I ended up getting 'the works'

Repair top seam and rim cracks. Check reglue/replace bracing.
Neck reset, new saddle.
Repair, reglue binding.
Complete re-fret, new nut.
Complete refinish
Reglue bridge, reassemble, setup.

I now have a brand new DV-72 in my possession. I'll have some pics up soon.
She looks amazing!

congrats - and the sound and playabilty?

Absolutely wonderful! The setup is a bit high for my tastes, but she rings and sustains forever!

By the way, was it shipped from Nashville via UPS? ;)
Hah! No, thankfully. Apparently they only use USPS. Thank goodness!

Haha well they did one better. They repaired the horrible endpin damage and it is INVISIBLE! I cannot tell the guitar was ever damaged. These guys really do an excellent job. It only took 10 months!

I love the way nitro ages. The non-refinished DV-72 I have is such a beautiful natural golden color!

Looks like they did a nice refinish, Jazzy. Congrats. Cool to contrast the two side-by-side like that.
