And Gary, I was thinking Colosi.....he must have made the pins, nut or saddle for your A25? Seems like I remember his name on an envelope at the house around that time? And I haven't bought anything from him that I can recall.

Yes, B.C. is the pins / nuts / saddles man.

You can't tell by the angle of the shot, but I ALWAYS bend the string ends up and away from the headstock. :wink: That particular low E somehow ended up starting under the A string.....still bent up and away from the headstock though as you'll notice it passed above the D.

OK, all well and good, but is there a reason why you don't just cut it closer to the post? :?
