I'll bet that if you have the money, they'll find the time to accommodate a small request like that! Give it a shot....what's to lose?West R Lee said:killdeer43 said:So, put a set of gold Grovers on it when you get it, or ask Guild if they'll do it for you.

Good point Joe. I suppose if the only are making 20 of them, and you wanted gold Grover tuners, they'd probably accommodate you.....reckon? Wonder what they're asking for those little jewels......bout $4000? Steal one for about $3500?

I REALLY like the aged silver look. Silver that has a bit of a dull, worn look about it. Not the shiney NEWchrome look. Twocorgis has a Martin with Waverly butterbeans on her..THOSE are the tuners I LIKE!! SO much so, that i "MAY" actually "AGE" my Gotohs ( on my GAD30) in such a fashon ( a bit of gentle steel wool will do the trick )
Like anything.......we all have our personal tastes to appease. no real absolutes in it.

Certainly, that's what it means, but I think it's actually "Guild Select Reserve." Not 100% sure. Dave G. told us at the factory...twocorgis said:West R Lee said:Anybody know what "GSR" stands for?

Guild Small Run IIRC.

At first we thought it was Guild Summit Reserve (these guitars sprang partly from the dealer summit held in the fall of last year), but I think it's meant to be more general.
