With just a few minutes to check it out, we're giving a "thumbs up" to the new Bluesbird.

Hey, curious if those are veneer tops. Seems like a pretty decent value if they're actually solid and that heavily flamed.

I have to say that it looks way better in that pic than it did in the horizontal Guild pic.

Still, something about it makes my brain think "bass" on first glance. Weird...

I wonder what it would look like with one of the pickguards off a black model. I have a hunch it would tie it all in a little better and make the treble horn not look so lonely out there, lol.

And it looks better "in person" than it does in the pictures.

There's a cream-colored pickguard & bracket included in the case. So it's up to the owner!

That is a nice looking guitar! I like the idea of letting the buyer decide about the pickguard - I wouldn't use it.

Dave, the photo of the pickup out of the guitar makes me wonder of you bought this??

Here's a little demo we posted today. Trying to let the clean sound of the guitar come through...

There is another video on the same Facebook page of a player using, what appears to be, the middle position. Stellar tones on that one.

I wonder if it will fit in an aristocrat case? Gig bags scare me.
