Get it while you can if you want one.
Guild's site says the Bisonic II in cherry red is discontinued.
Odd that they are dropping the most traditional color.
I notice the Bisonic I isn't even listed any longer.

they must have sold out of the popular colors, and trying to sell out the rest before another run (and price increase)? red paint going towards the new cheaper ones, and six string NS Starfires?
or have not/currently not painting anything at all, due to covid

Guild website lists the following available:

Natural/Mahogany MSRP $1800
Green/Maple MSRP $1800
Flamed Maple MSRP $2085

MUSA prices for non-MUSA basses? The latest prices are rediculous.
NS Starfire basses aren’t worth more than 1,000.
They are not that nice to be 1300/1400. No way.
At least I’m not willing to pay more for that for one so I guess I’m not getting one. I understand materials marketing the economy and the Covid crisis but those bases just shouldn’t be more than 1000 bucks under normal circumstances, If they were anything like mine which was non-USA made had cosmetic flaws and junkie electronics including the Bisonic.(but it was a 2013 model). When I say non-USA made I’m not talking about quality although that’s probably an issue too Compared to USA made instruments I’ve had, butI’m talking about the economy wise.

I got each of my NS SFs new for under $1K. At that price, I thought they were a good value.

But at almost twice that price? Not so much.

Just remember that MSRP is often discounted so the new street price can be closer to $1,000.

We should keep in mind that price sensitivity is a function of buyer psychology and circumstances and not necessarily the quality of the object.

Yeah I know about msrp.
Sweetwater has them bisonic II models for from 1299-1499, so 1300-1500 minus a dollar.
