Hi Ralf,

can not measure the nut when it is mounted, I have to remove it to measure....for that I need a tool šŸ¤£

I wait for the wrench which I ordered, think I get it in a few days

As someone who is comfortable with geometry I will note that if you measured the exposed face you could calculate the distance F although measurement errors might make the calculated result less than useful for these purposes.

Nuts are to be measured across the flats. Even if the nut was exposed enough for a box end wrench, assuming it was thin walled enough to clear the wood, the amount of torque multiplication available is frightening.

I made this dual action truss rod and soldered an allen head adjustment to it.
Tricky but enjoyable with left and right handed internal and external threads.
Getting a custom made, Chris Bozung, sloped shouldered mahogany and sitka dread made. Trying to get enough courage up to have him use this truss rod. Will put thin rubber latex tubing on one rod, if necessary, to prevent rattle. If member "Dreadnut" had soldered it, I wouldn't hesitate to use it.
