See. That didn't hurt much, now, did it?
Looks like you had a wonderfully attentive audience and encouraging friends & family.
I didn't see a tip jar, though, Ken. That can get ya booted from the Troubadour League and the Balladeer Brotherhood! :D

We're proud of you!

Yes we are Kenny. Funny how after about one song, the butterflies disappear, isn't it?

I didn't know how to handle the tip thing. I had some folks come forward to contribute, but I discreetly refused. Guess I'm not yet that refined..

Some pics follow... I don't know how to edit the opening video so it will load on photobucket. I'll see if my daughter knows how...

Granddaughter Maddie stole the show...

Set list Ken? What'd ya play?

Congratulations!

I'm with Graham... we need to know not only the tunes you played, but also which Guild you used for each song! Looks like you brought 3 guitars? Cool! Must feel great to have been asked back immediately like that. Guess that tells you all you need to know about how the venue felt it went. Now, the real fun starts with considering much you want to mix up your set (or even the order), etc. next time.

Keep having fun, Scratch! The place looks like an absolutely wonderful setting to play in.

Still can't get the video to upload to photobucket. Any tips Grammy?

Started the first set with the Eagles: 'Hotel California' on the F512... (that's the one on the opening video that I'm having trouble with)...

Switched to six-string (plugged) 'Lucky' for:

2. Come Monday (Buffet)
3. Early Morning Rain (Lightfoot)
4. Carolina in my Mind (JT)
5. Something (in the Way She Moves): (Harrison)
6. Yesterday (Beatles)
7. Poncho & Lefty (Nelson/Haggard version)
8. Teach Your Children (CSNY)
9. Riding on a Railroad (JT)
10. Angel from Montgomery (Prine)

Switch to (unplugged) 12-string (Hanzz)

11. Give a Little Bit (Supertramp/Hodgson)
12. Sweet Home Alabama (Leonard Skynard)
13. Free Falling (Petty)
14. Tell me Why (Neil Young)
15. Wild Horses (Richards/Jagger)
16. Comes a Time (Neil Young)

Break: Maddie sings Dogs Crying in the Rain

Invited a friend on stage. She and her husband wowed the crowd with two Christian songs they composed and sang. Her voice is unreal...

Second set:

12-string (Boogie) plugged with harp:

17. South Carolina (Scratch)
18. Four Strong Winds (Neil Young version)
19. Heart of Gold (Neil Young)
20. Hanoi Hanna (Scratch)

Back to Hanzz (unplugged with mic assist)

21. Sandman (America)
22. Nights in White Satin (Moody Blues)
23. Tequila Sunrise (Eagles)
24. Norweigan Wood (Harrison)
25. Peaceful Easy Feeling (Eagles)
26. Long May You Run (Neil Young)
27. As the Raven Flies (Fogelberg)
28. The Boxer (Paul Simon)
29. Lonely People (America)
30. Change Partners (CSNY)
31: Won't Back Down (Petty)

Break: Last set

32: Needle & Damage (CSNY)
33: 4+20 (Stills)
35: Have You Ever Seen the Rain (CCR)

Recognized the LTGers who gave me the courage and incentive to play: LTG rocks!

How big is it? The video.

Pbucket has a limit on size even for pro accounts.

5 minutes for regular accounts, 10 for pro. 10 meg file size.

If you're trying to cut them down that might work. PM me if you want to do this together.

Is it true Ken, that you're now traveling to all of Ninfa's locations? If so, don't forget the newest one in NNE Texas. (aka Hamilton, Ontario, Canukistan)

Boy - what a great set of songs Ken :D

Pam now knows each one by heart... :D An 'older' lady and her husband wanted some from the 50s. Gotta admit I didn't have a one. Need to find a couple to work on... Know any, Jerry?

Atta boy, Scratch !

Next gig..... Bob's Country Bunker.

Probably don't serve none of that prissy Merlot stuff there though !

Thought you 'down-under' fellers liked yer vino. We sure import lots of nice wines from Australia. For the price, Yellow Tail is one of my favorite Merlots.

Oh, most certainly !

In fact, the Merlot-dominant reds of Esk Valley Wines here, are the Coastie favourites.

Prior to our move to the West Coast, we lived in this region, and maintained a cellar of 200 - 300 bottles. Can't afford that luxury anymore; probably a good thing, cos we sure did drink a lot of wine !

I'm a Claret-type red wine man, and not madly keen on Burgundies.
