The clip you posted was from 1996. I can't find it at the moment but there is also a 2008 clip of Chic and Slash doing Le Freak.

Bernie Edwards, the bassist in the 1996 clip died (natural causes) that evening after the concert. I rediscovered Chic and my inner Disco Boy after seeing the bass line to Good Times show up on a list of influential bass lines.

"Kojak"!!!!!! Telly Savalas.........now there was an actor if there ever was one. My favorite was him as MSgt BIG Joe in "Kelly's Heroes". Running a close second was him as Archer Maggot in "The Dirty Dozen"

One of our local stations is running episodes of the early '60's series 'Combat!' starring Vic Morrow. Telly Savalas was featured in a recent episode playing a Greek colonel leading an Allied Greek unit in France. Independant, wreckless, stubborn and slightly psychopathic... and he played the part great
