I think it's not just inflation or pandemic, but the fact people can search everything on the net. You could, in the past, walk into a pawn shop and find reasonable prices, but now they can look everything up.

I still think the T-100 guitars are relatively cheap compared to a Gibson ES-125 for example
I paid about $3200 USD for this Slim Jim including shipping and duty, I think this is a fair price for this beauty

I don't disagree, which is why I wrote "somewhat affordable", but the times when Guilds were inexpensive (especially when considering the prices of the other Gs) seem to have been long over
