Finally!

Drum Roll Please................................................................... (Dramatic pause).....................................

1973 S-100 standard
Leeds-20120615-00123.jpg

It’s definitely not in the condition that I've been waiting for, but the price was right.

The only known issues or disclosure items are-
-no case
-replaced Tuners

I will share more after it arrives.

The day was I would have said "ho, hum, another electric guitar". Now I say "Alright. Looks great! Rock on!" You can't play it in a case anyway.

I'm pumped up! It should be here Thursday. I am so taking the day off from work.

I've purchased a few guilds over the past year and none of them have came with a OHSC. Where do they go? What happens to them? Hans are you hording all the cases too?

Actually, I'm not hoarding anything! All the stuff I've gathered so far is for sale for repairs or making guitars complete. The only Guild cases that I've been hoarding in the past were for Guild Aristocrats but I have the appropriate cases for my entire collection now.

Sincerely,

I understand that, I was just trying to add some humor stating the fact that you are the man everyone turns to for anything and everything guild.

Don't worry about it Dave! I can tell the difference between a joke and a sneer!

Cheers!

Sweet acquisition, Dave. Normally I don't like black Guilds ... breathe, Los Angeles, breathe ... but for some reason, Guilds wear the color well.

And now you know my avatar is what it is! I meant to type, I don't like black guitars. but that Guilds wear the color well, as your photo so postively points out, Hans. Say, I know I've asked this before, but do you still have that '59 Epi Coronet? Not looking to buy it, just always been intrigued by then ever since I saw Vigilante Carlstroem of The Hives playing one.

It’s here!

My first impression was Holy Sh*t this thing is beat up! But I was prepared for that since I did see some pics and was told about its condition. It plays great and even sounds better!

I have played one before but I don’t remember the neck being so thick, I like it. Is there a big difference between the necks from the early 70's vs. the later 70's?

I have an appointment with a guitar doctor on Friday afternoon (service while you wait!). I will post some pics soon after.
