Go Uruguay! (Sorry John...)All the best,
B.
No worries Bruno.......We're not big fans of the Italian team here either, for many reasons. No, We enjoy the emerging teams coming up and playing well. Not so much the over hyped, overpayed, ultra egos.
Each world Cup has it's own wildcards............For me, Those are the ones to watch and enjoy.
Good to see Italy pay the price for it's conservative playing. Wonder if they will learn from this...............again.

Brasil v. Chile will be a good game. I see Brasil and Germany playing each other in the semifinals, this will be the game of the cup. Netherlands and Argentina on the other side, though I'm hoping US upsets Belgium and Argentina.

So sorry for you Bruno, Chile was just unlucky today...
Ralf
I only say the highlights but yeah, so close. Bad luck Chile & Bruno. I'm hoping Columbia get over Brazil in the next round. It's a bit of a shame a lot of the South American countries have been pitted against each other.

Yes, quite a beat down. I guess that Neymar guy is that crucial to Brasil's success. Or Germany is that good. Anyway, I picked Germany v Argentina in the final last week, so I am half way there now...

still, let's hope there is not another one of these fall outs from such a loss: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrés_Escobar

Neymar is a very important part often team but the MVP for Brazil in most of their matches has been the referee! They have got over the top help in most of their matches starting from the blatant robbery that occurred in the first match against Croatia to the ref letting them get away with murder (especially on James Rodriguez) against Colombia.
