A bit of perspective from a relative newcomer. I started lurking here and eventually joined because i kept reading on other groups what a wonderful bunch the folks at LTG were. Well, twocorgis has just demonstrated the truth in that. A really nice thing to do. I can think of other forums that would rake a member over the coals for this sort of act of kindness -- calling it foolishness or worse. It's a tribute to the group as a whole that people are giving a pat on the back for this generosity.

Sorry for getting a bit sappy. But this is a good place.

Thanks Bob, <sniff>

I hope you're coming to LMG with us. I'm really looking forward to meeting these guys. What a fine group. :D

Not only that, they tell me to buy whatever I want to buy.

That was a seriously nice thing to do, twocorgis.....I believe in the long run the thought and caring that was displayed will be remembered long after the $100 has been spent.

I've never forgotten the kind gestures displayed to my family and I a few years back when I was out of work, acts of kindness with no expectation of anything in return....seems we always get more in return for an act of kindness than what it "costs" us...

Congrats - you'll love it. I have a d212 (older version of the d25-12) and the sound is tremendous.

Hi All,

I heard back from the seller, and he's a happy camper. To wit:

"wow, thank you so much. i am typing 1 armed due to the shoulder operation, and have another neck surgery coming in a couple months. you will never know how much i appreciate this. i hope you enjoy the guitar. god bless--- dave"

Makes me feel all warm 'n' fuzzy... :D
