Sorry, I had to remove a link I'd posted. It was a link to a video of one of my buddy's performances, but it had a link to my Facebook account on it as well.

Anyway, we lost Warren Bradley to cancer last night, and I wish I could share the video with you. Warren was a very talented impressionist with whom I'd gone to school since the 7th grade. If I can find a way, I'll post it for you guys, I think you'll get a laugh.

Sorry to hear that Jim. One of the things that sucks the most about getting older is losing your friends. I've lost a few myself, and can definitely empathize.

Jim,
When we talked the other evening, I knew from your description that his time was limited and I know as well just how much you thought of him. So sorry for your loss.

It wasn't any easier losing them when I was younger, either. :(

Just sayin',
Joe
Honestly Joe, this is the truth. I've lost more friends in my youth than in my old age.... it doesn't get any easier. Sorry to hear about your friend, West. These things just SUCK BIG TIME. Growing old is not for the faint of heart......

Condolences, friend.... :(

Thank you guys. I really want to post this performance for you (I'll keep tryin'). Warren has made us laugh since we were kids, he'll be greatly missed.

No Kenny, unfortunately, that was a different friend I was telling you about. He also has liver and kidney cancer. His name is David and he's not doing too well either.

Tell you what guys, I can't think of any better charitable giving than to the American Cancer Society!

Jim,

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your friend.

A friend is one that knows you as you are,
Understands where you have been,
Accepts what you have become,
And still, gently allows you to grow.

Sorry for your loss, Jim. I don't know about it getting any harder or easier, but I do know that it helps to know that folks understand and care. Sharing the grief is therapeutic in its own right. My best wishes.
