There is next to nothing in Heron, Montana. No gas station, no traffic light, no market, no cafe... There's a post office and a small community center, and really, that's about it. Except, oh yeah, a little weed store, lol. And I mean little. Just run by one guy. Used to be medicinal only, but then Montana went recreational, too, a year or so ago. Crazy little "town."

Hey, say Andy. After your trim, how about a little something extra to take home for Aunt Bee?

It has been legal here in Canada for a few years, and there is a shop selling it on every corner. It is a non-event in my life as I tried it once in about 1968 when I was 20, hated the smell and remember saying at the time that I preferred cigarettes.
I do worry about those who drive under the influence, (just as I do about those who still stupidly drink and drive) but other than that really don't give it its sale a second thought .

In British Columbia, at least, it varies from community to community. Federal and Provincial Governments seem to have left the licensing of store front business up to individual communities. So if you have a conservative mayor and council you won't see any pot shops because they won't license the businesses. With small towns/villages there are often shops just outside council jurisdiction, often on native reserve land, alarmingly often associated with gas stations.

I prefer the gummies.

Keep'em well out of reach of the little people. There have been some major panic trips to hospitals here associated with gummies and children.

Imagine it is 1971 and you are totally baked.

Out of your skull, "somebody back up a Doritos truck up to my door, what's my name and where do I live, I can't feel my face, I'm so high I hope the oxygen masks drop down soon" stoned.

You turn on the TV, and there are Gail and Dale performing what Mr. Welk calls "a modern spiritual".

If you ran screaming into the night, we'd understand.

Well, you’re not going to grow a successful crop with those guys around. Deer love to munch on reefer. They will eat it right down to the stalk.

Ahh legal weed, so much easier to get and cheaper even with the taxes. Also think its nice not having to look over your shoulder everytime you see a police car, lol. Been legal in CA since 1996 for medicinal, and if you had a scrip, you can grow 6 plants. Now its been recreational since 2016 and anyone can grow 6 plants, so technically the wife and I can legally grow 12 if we wanted :)

I really enjoyed using it during the seventies and eighties but around 1990 I just gave it up completely. I recently bought a small quantity and after a couple of puffs realized that
1) much stronger now
2) makes me want to avoid people
3) impossbile to play guitar
4) guaranteed I will not get anything done
Also the smell is very strong even with triple wrapped
