Beautiful Jazzy! That looks like EIR on the back and sides, right. I know there's some '71s with Braz IIRC, but that was pretty late in the game for Guild.

Putting it next to all my other EIR Guilds, it definitely has the most pronounced grain and redish hue. Oh well. Maybe its colorful EIR! No idea!

Does it smell like bublegum? (Only half joking! Don't know if that old myth has any truth or not, especially after 40 years! :lol: )

That's similar to the '71 F-50R I have, Jazzy. The sides are different looking than the back. ANyway, it's all good, and it's all rosewood! :)

Yep, that ought to be fine old guitar. Can't buy that sound off the wall at Guitar Center :wink: . Congrats Jazzy!

Yeah she's got a good bit of saddle left. Definitely needs a refret cuz its got those real short 70s frets!

My F-47 has the same frets....lol.....still playable
