I saw that store's decals on a few eBay items, too. That tells me they must have 'decal-ed' everything they sold!

I also saw the stuff about Elvis renting the piano from them online, too, but you have to wade through a lot of Elvis fanzine pages to confirm it. I don't want to do that again!

Say, I don't want to derail this thread, but 'sometime' tell me how musicians in your part of the world feel about Hofner Basses. I've had a couple. I like them, but I would much rather play my old '66 Starfire Bass!

And now, back to the X-330!!

Harry: I got an answer from one of the businesses on that street in Giessen. They told me that Musikhaus Kühlwetter was closed about 30 to 35 years ago already. So I was pretty close with my guess!
Regarding Hofner basses and the opinion in Germany I don't really know. I am not a bass player you know...
