Yes, intonated saddles have been around for a while. One of my Teles, all vintage aftermarket from stem to stern has a Joe Barden bridge with intonated brass saddles.

True, it's only a Telecaster if it says Fender on the headstock, the rest are "T style", but I think anything that looks a lot like a Tele is a Tele of sorts.
