Yeah Ray I looked for those too and couldn't find them. Intriguing.. I imagine that they are lot like the Guild GADS. Also I have never been able to find pictures of the GREE facility..
No snark intended, but how much ya wanna bet Fender negotiated sole rights to US sales for their own brands?
It only makes sense.
A lo-o-ong time ago we saw a couple of snapshots of production which might have been GREE.
What was eye-catching was that it looked like there were GAD and Blueridge headstocks mixed on a rack of nearly completed instruments, giving rise to speculation that GADs were built in the same place as Blueridges. I don't remember that ever being confirmed, but Ralf may have better recollection.

We had posted a few here and if you go to Google and enter "Farida Guitars Grand Rewards" as search term you get at least 5 factory workfloor pictures of the GREE factory. However as often happens with Chinese websites, they don't load at all today for me. Maybe tomorrow...or the day after...

EDIT: Right, two days later it works again! http://faridaguitars.com/e29n0116.htm

Here are a bunch of new Westerly Guilds that we just got in at work. These are pretty nice. I really like the M-140, and if I didnt have an F-20 I would probably grab it, but I am waiting for an Oxnard M-20!

They were great to me I did not deal with the acoustic guy and I ended up getting the Blueridge instead of the Yamaha LL16 and Gad 130r . But they stopped dealing Blueridge shame I would stayed with them if so . The acoustic guy just cared about selling Taylor's and I can say that it was the same the multiple times I was in . I do need to give them a call see what they got . 😀

I guess that really depends on the people in each store. I had the same experience with GC, some GC were great (Beaverton/OR, one of the Dallas/TX GCs,...), some not at all.

I played the D-120 and the D-140 Westerly Collection for the first time at Sam Ash Dallas yesterday... Both sounded pretty good.. Very similar to the GADs in feel, but the D-140 had some serious volume... Not thrilled with the factory action ( who is? ), but my goodness it rang like a bell.. I am seriously considering one of these. It was hard because the D-120 hog had a better feel.. The D-140 had better volume a product of spruce vs. hog I am sure..

Good to hear. But for a few 100 more, could you not save up for another true Westerly? I have owned several MIC acoustics, and have always been eventually disappointed with the thick lacquer. My experience with MIC is like that of my experience with Taylors. I always end up selling them.
