Is he near Long Beach, CA?

If so, I just recently bought an S60 from this same guy.

Legit seller.

Those are cool!!

Of course, I'm so old and fat, if I played one of those guitars, it would look like an Arrow Stuck Through The Michelin Man, but hey, that's just me......

What kind of pickups? What kind of wood?

I wonder what these will be worth 10, 20. 30 years from now.
Let me put it this way: I wouldn't use their stock for my 401K. (Retirement account for you people outside of the US... in case there are countries outside of the US)

There's a man who understands the difference between guitars and investments. 8)

Where is this fellow? I got two grand sons in CA.

Venice, I believe. He's the guy who I bought my Polara from, with an enabling assist from Treem. If you or your grandsons are interested I can see if one or both are still available.

Wait, Venice? That's where I live.

I can't believe I made arrangements for my girlfriend's mother to pick up the s-60 at his office in Long Beach when I could have just ridden my skateboard to get it. Not a big deal, but would have been a lot more convenient.

Both my grandsons are too young to know what they want. They both started on guitar, now one's on bass and the other's on drums. They could start playing reggae if they didn't fight all the time. Oh well, it was an idea but not not a very damned good one.

Hi everyone, those X-82 Novas are mine, and thanks to a few good buyers who bought some of my other guitars I will be able to hang onto these for awhile. They are quite comfortable to play either standing or sitting and they sound pretty darn good. Mahogany body / mahogany set neck. One has Dimarzio pickups and I'm not sure what pickups are in the other one. And no, 1 was not enough! After the first one I bought 2 more, so I actually had 3 at one point. I graduated highy school in the early '80s which really wasn't the best time for rock and roll but the sparkle glam rock still seems somewhat familiar to me so I guess I like having those guitars around!

Welcome James! And please forgive us the "Nova sarcasm" we enjoy giving in around here...
They just look.... different I guess.
But they're Guilds, so no reason for them not to sound killer....
