On New Year's eve we saw the giant Marilyn Monroe -- 26 feet high! It seemed bigger than that! Then later to the Purple Room Jazz and dinner club for the midnight craziness, hurrying back to downtown (Palm Springs) for some incredible fireworks. A very happy New Year to all!

We made it to Midnight after watching The Music Man spurred by the PBS Show on Meredith Willson where I learned this:

An issue with giant granny panties? I can't imagine that sculpture being less controversial, but I could easily see it being more so.
