Saw her...kinda pricey, though. :?
It's an auction, keep watching. I agree about price though, 'cause it's almost exactly like mine except I think it's wee bit earlier than 2000. My s/n's almost 300 units higher as a late '01. Also I think the Fishman unit is slighthly different. I'm not at home but I don't think mine had the same nkobs for volume and notch filter. I think the phase control was a late change though, and it's handy for dealing with feedback.
This is the guitar my girlffriend loves to hear "Chim Chim Cheree" on. Imagine that waltztime being played with a delicate clawhammer style and then taking a sudden break for 6/8 swing rhythm with all the crispness of tone appropriate for a song like that. Same trick works for "My Favorite Things". A trick I got inspired to try from listening to Coltrane's version.
Or try "Slide" by the GooGoo Dolls if your tastes run in that direction. It also handles Jimmy Page style acoustic bits, like "Gallows Pole" . It's versatile baby. I just can't strum it as hard as the other two, but it IS strung with extra lights after all. I just have to adjust technique a little.
They're pretty uncommon so I'd consider whether or not to let it pass very carefully.
