For me, It would have to be the DV-52 as well. Simply an all-around beautiful looking and sounding guitar. I love everything about it, the sound, the feel, the look, the smell. She's a '93, so she has the herringbone soundhole, and for me, That helps as well. :D
Also, she is my first American made Guild ( Still love my GADF30) and the one that brought me to LTG. My D25 runs a very close second,....but then again, they ALL run a close second.
I'd hate to have to choose just "one'. I am thankful that I dont have to.

You obviously don't have enough love for your SFV so I'm going to have to do you a favour & take it off your hands.
I'd love to hear that & the DV52 (& see how it compares to my D50).

I only have one acoustic, so chalk upanother vote for the DV-52.

If I had to choose between the two S-100's.......I like the loose string tension on the '73, but the '77 really is a better overall design.

Today it's the F47CE, because I love the sound of that thing. But, on another day it could very well be the A-50 because my mood changes and I like the drier sound it has...

Down to only three Guilds now and the D-55 would be the keeper. I just like the fact I can pick it up anytime without having to amplify it and just enjoy something that's so finely built. Just gotta thank the Lord I have the good fortune in not just owning one but three great Guilds. I'm not worthy

That is one beautiful D-25M.

Joe, you could take a picture of a dog turd and make it look good enough for me to wish I'd been there to pick it up. :p

My '75 S-100 without a doubt. But you'd be hard pressed to get me to part with any of them!

Up until I bought my '76 F-50SB a couple of years ago, my '74 D-40 was my fav.

But the F-50SB now is #1. Phenomenal TONE and SUSTAIN make it my fav! It's had a full pro setup and new SS frets installed by Gryphon Stringed Instruments. If I could only keep one acoustic guitar from my list below, this would be the one.

Former #1, but now #2. My '74 D-40:

I play the D40 the most, but only by a small margin. My guitars get close to equal playing time. I grab whichever suits my mood at the moment or the songs I'm working on. My hands take a pretty good beating at work, so sometimes I play the Bluesbird just because it's easy on the hands. Sometimes I work out electric tunes on acoustic. In the end I play each about a third of the time.

Quite impressive 6L6, considering the list. My D40 comes in second as well...

Even though I like OM guitars, I have to say that my D25 is my favorite Guild I own. The mahogany arch back is a powerful force.

Oh I've always enjoyed their tone and depth. I just wish I could get that in a small body guitar. It is a tall order to make a small body guitar that sounds like a dread.

Why I have a fantasy F30 pipe dream. Since it's deeper than my F65ce and it was available in an archback, it might be the unicorn I'm looking for. I was gonna say you also really ought to consider an F65ce, since you're independantly wealthy and all, ( ) and I remembered Marcellis recently posted a "want to trade" on his blue one, and I think it's still in Texas. Maybe you can figure out a way to check it out. Yeah, I know Texas is a BIG place, it might be farther away than I realize. Still, it was quicker to mention here than in a pm.
