Nice D60 Marcellis! Those ads are actually showing a D66.This was also in my case when Guitars of Montana sent it back to me.
Yep, it's showing the larger fretboard inlays and the slightly wider headstock of the D66...Even the ad that says "D60" is a D66?

It seems that according to the serial number chart they were built in '89 but not '88...Did Guilds make D-55's in 1989?
Yep, apparently they went through various changes. The D60 that I had was a very different guitar from the D66 that I presently have... both awesome guitars!And the D60 is the D66 and the D66 is the D60 . . . depending upon the year. And then later, the D60 is not the D66.
