I was born & raised in Pasadena

I was born and raised in South Pasadena. Actually, I just flew down to Burbank TODAY (er, now yesterday) from Spokane (after driving to Spokane from Heron, Montana). I figured I should make it to my dad's 100th birthday. He still lives in the same place in South Pas. I'll see if he can still do any jamming on his Gibson Les Paul....

That park up on the cliffs overlooking the ocean is beautiful! Even though we moved to the Valley (San Fernando Valley) when I was 3 my dad worked for RAND Corporation, a military and government think tank that was right near there by the pier for 35 years before he retired and became the chief pilot for The Air Group in Van Nuys. Santa Monica is beautiful.

I've travelled to SoCal on business several times and I find the coastal areas the prettiest places in the country. My favorite is San Clemente.

Yeah, we spent a couple extra days down at Laguna Beach. The weather was quite different than in Heron, Montana!
