Marck, You're making me cry. Please tell me it does not have a 1 & 11/16" neck so I can sleep at night.

Hi all, sorry for my late response, I've been putting in some late hours!
First, congratulations to you Up North! You're going to love your X-700!!
Bing K, the most outstanding feature of this guitar's tone imo is its acoustic tone unamplified. It really sings with both flatpick (which I rarely use on this one) and fingerstyle. Very responsive, mature solid top with the uncluttered response that the arched maple back and sides provide. Amplified it has a wide variety of pleasing tones from the individual pickups and the blended bridge and neck. I think one is never far from the inherent acoustic qualities played through a clean amp seting. It is able to get dark and smoky with the tone rolled off, and does chord melody quite well in bridge or blended position. It can also do well in blues settings, although not the absolute gut bucket, distorted variety. It's an adult guitar, for sure.
Yes, I have the original pickguard but I'll have to dig it out from the closet it's stored in. I will try to have a photo of it up by the weekend.
dogrocketp, weep away amigo, it's a good 1 11/16 at the nut, 2 1/8 bridge spacing. I'll get a photo of the nut with a ruler across it for you. The neck is perfect too, not thin for sure but not a baseball bat by any means. Really a good feel in the hand all the way to the cutaway. I play some tunes in Ebminor (eg 'Round Midnight) and it does very well at the 11th fret and above.
