Logo reduced to eye straining size, glued onto abalone blank for appropriate patterns.

What kind of eye glasses do you use? Seems you would need more than an Optivisor??

Something similar, I don't remember where I got it or what it's various lenses magnify at. It's not ideal and gives me headaches using it for too long, but it gets the job done. My eyes aren't equal in strength so I'm going to see if I can get a Rx for 10x glasses at my next eye doctor visit.

They’re stupid expensive but I bet a pair of dental or surgical glasses are what you need.

I use a desk mounted magnifying glass from here and it’s so good that I now have two. Way better than anything else I’ve been able to find:

I use it for hours at a time, though it’s nowhere near 10x.

Logo cut. Had a little trouble on the bottom part when the template started coming unglued. Tried some CA, but in the end I had to hold it down to finish the last cut.
I did a couple of things differently on this logo compared to previous ones. I chose different textures and colors for the two parts similar to a real acorn. More textured in the cap. I also shortened the stem. Even on larger inlays this part is a liability, just waiting to break because of it's thinness, and at this size, that was almost a guarantee.
