I took several years of piano, drum, and trombone lessons as a kid. Played in the Boston Junior Symphony Orchestra. I ended up playing mostly by ear cause I didn't have the patience to read and play. Playing 3 chords is a hell of lot easier and I'm basically pretty lazy. If I have to sit down and read a piece of music I can, but a root canal would be less painful. My goal is to find the easiest way to do hard stuff. My teachers got frustrated. They're lucky I taught myself.:distracted:
