I’m mostly interested in the 74 , he’s supposed to send pictures tomorrow and I might get someone from the Canadian guitar forum to check it out. Best thing is they are under my guitar budget

The guy with the 90s/2000s sound like he will be willing to make a deal if i happen to be a little short .

The 74 doesn’t have its ohsc but my 84 tak does and it’s a mess

Jared, FYI, that's an arch-back, all-mahogany D-25. This was a transitional time when Guild was using arched (laminated) mahogany for the back but continued using a solid mahogany for the top. I.e., this is before they started using a spruce top for the D-25... This instrument would be very cool to have, but might not sound quite as punchy (or loud) as the iconic D-25 that you're used to hearing -- arch-back with spruce top that is. Anyway, I love this guitar.... I'll bet it you'd love it. Good luck in the hunt.

The TRC Police (Truss Rod Cover Police) are a group of people whose OCD is set off when they see the TRC mounted upside down on a guitar. Sadly, I'm one of them.

Yes, the TRC shape mimics the classic Guild headstock shape just as in this photo.

So which one is wrong? I'm not seeing it.

I really like the 74 D-25 myself.

What Chazmo said -- completely different sound than a sprucetop archback....still super-cool, just very different.
