Exactly! There's no indication it was bashed and the case appears to be in good condition. A puzzlement!but, how the hell did that happen??
Well, no indication from this side. If it took a great deal of sudden weight on the front, while supported only on the sides, then it could snap in the unsupported middle. Is this a Tribute model or US build? Load could have shifted inside a shipping container onto the body.Exactly! There's no indication it was bashed and the case appears to be in good condition. Wow, say that four times fast.Ok, so this is some years back, this buddy of mine Jimmy who's a guitar whiz - handily winning GC guitar contests, not for slouches - is leaving his apartment downtown one morning to go to work at the most famous pawn shop/music store in town, selling guitars.
He's dating this gal Allea, and I don't know why but as he walked by under the apartment window, he heard a sound, looked up, and his black Strat covered in stickers was flying down to the sidewalk, body first, straight for his head apparently and he ducked out of the way.
The only reason I know this is because I happened to go into the store that day, and it was there, looking a lot like the one the OP posted, lol, and worse ;]]] The only thing holding it together was the stickers.
He never said why she did it, but she was known to be a little crazy, and by some super odd twist of fate, his then girlfriend and later wife turned out to be the ex wife of the guy my ex married.
I was a tad confused myself!!I think I'm gonna need some sort of chart or diagram, to understand those interpersonal connections.
Wait....let me get this straight. So...if you drop a guitar out of an apartment window and it smashes on the ground....years later, all kinds of kids and grandkids pop up?
Thankfully, I've caught every guitar that's ever fallen in my direction! Now we know why Pete Townshend smashed guitars.
