I saw the Peter Case Band a few years back in a pub here in Sydney supporting the Flamin' Groovies. They were fantastic! Know about The Nerves, a band he was in in the late 70s? Also in that band was Paul Collins who had a band called The Beat. Their first album is power pop perfection. Nearly very band I went to see & my band as well, did a cover off that album. The other guy was Jack Lee. His debut album "Greatest Hits Vol. 1" was also really good. He wrote the songs "Hanging On The Telephone" & "Come Back & Stay" which were hits for Blondie & Paul Young. The Plimsouls / A million Miles Away, excellent song! Peter Case is still out there making great music and still going strong. He's one of my favorite singer / songwriters and he's a pretty good rack harmonica player too.
