They were a great live band, and that Van Zandt dude had to have done about a pound of coke before the show because he just ran - while singing - for the entire show..38 Special rocked!

A "ticket broker" I knew went to see the Roger Waters show, so he sold me his front row center tickets to Night Ranger/.38 Special.
That's why the show is so memorable. Plus, it was a great double bill.
We were laughing at Van Zandt because it did not sound like he was even plugged in, even though he was the most kinetic player on the stage.
