OK, who wants to tell Bonnie that the TRC is upside down?

I really love the graphic design on this one. Mickey Hampshire of Thee Milkshakes with a T100 or Starfire in the mid-1980s.

Gustavo Cerati with what looks like an F4CE at Soda Stereo's last concert before they broke up in 1997.

I didn't realize he had played a Guild until tonight, but coincidentally, I had decided at some point that my F-1512 should have a name and picked "Gustavo", partly because I'd just been playing a Soda Stereo song (not one of the ones he typically used an acoustic for) and thought it worked well on that guitar.

I recall having seen a video - they came to railway - set up the camera - played the song - got off before train came - and somehow I think there was a Guild dreadnut guitar. Tried to search for it - but could not find it - there are soooooo many videos of them.
Hi Nuuska, do you mean this video? It's Reina Del Cid and Tony Lindgren performing "Jambalaya" on a railway track. Guild involved.

But it's Reina and neither one of the Larkin Poe Sisters nor the Girl in post 1245.

I had to login to youtube to watch this since it's rated 18+. No idea why?!

Grüetzi

Yup - that's the one - mixed because two girls playing acoustic guitars . . .

I suppose the 18+ rating is because they are shooting the video on a track with traffic. And that's a no-no.

Afie Jurvanen of one my favorite bands from Canada called Bahamas.

IMG_3220.JPG

If you've never heard this band, do yourself a favor and check them out. Great songs, great lyrics, sublime performing of ultra dynamic sonic textures which often highlight backing singer extraordinaire Felicity Williams....who is like a human tuning fork!!

Afie's main guitars are an old Silvertone and his beloved pink Strat...and have only recently seen him w/ this Guild which he plays on the 2nd tune in this video.

Our own @Boss (Charlie Apicella) with his band, Iron City at the Long Branch Jazz & Blues Festival this Saturday past!

It's a beautiful venue, oceanfront on the Jersey Shore!

Great photos! Thanks for posting. It looks like a beautiful afternoon at the sea shore. I’m guessing that is a single pickup T-100 SB.
