Hi all. Looking for info on the differences in these bodies. I have the A150 savoy In white With the gold pickup. Nice! The specs say its a 150 body style with a solid arched spruce top. I just ordered the x350, which the specs say is a arched spruce top, but no mention of solid. Its been my experience that guitar makers will promote anything of value, and if they dont say solid, its a laminate. That being said, I’m not the guild expert. But in the photos, they look like the same body. Same dimensions, length depth etc., same necks, same scale . But the 350 says its a 175 style body. Is there a difference? I would not be surprised if they used the same body for all, just different pickups and knobs and tail pieces And varying descriptions. Or, am i missing that they are in fact different shape bodies? Either way, the 150 turned me over to guilds. And the three pickup option on a hollow body with a separate volume for the middle is very interesting.

That's correct, the Newark St. A-150 has an Arched Solid Spruce top. I was already wondering at NAMM 2013 how they did this but didn't find an answer. I assume it was pressed into shape unter temperature. The vintage model also has a solid spruce top as they belonged to the "Acoustic Archtops".
The X-350 has a laminated top, same as the original vintage model. All the vintage Guild "Electric Archtops" had laminated tops to avoid feedback when playing loud.

Can't tell you exactly if they are born on the same machines but the lower bout depth is slightly different at least.
Also the wood quality. The A-150 uses flamed maple wheras the X-350 just uses maple. Now on the white colored A-150 I don't know.
