Lookin for a SWR strawberry blonde made in Sun Valley or Sylmar California must be in very good to excellent condition and that is all I’m looking for. I am in Washington state. Thanks very much, Bob.

What is an SWR?
Good question, it was asked in his other NGD thread earlier on Sunday as well. Somehow he assumed we would all know what it is, which we obviously do not...

Just for info what I posted there:

SWR is/was an amplifier company, may well have been swallowed up by Fender pre-TPC. They manufactured bass amplifiers of some note, and also a couple of very sweet, though heavy, acoustic guitar amps. The Strawberry Blonde was on my short list for a long time ;)

The "blonde" refers to the blonde-Tolex, ala pre BF Fender, the combo amp is covered in; the control panel is a sort of pinkish-red.

I'd be surprised if "Northbendbob" is back.
In another recent case I disagreed with the suspension. Not in this case. All he had to say was "Lookin for a SWR strawberry blonde amplifier..." But then "Look it up DA"? What's DA supposed to mean? Nobody likes to have to look up nonstandard acronyms or vague references. Spell it out!
