No for me but "Tire Changer Bill" Takes a Sunday bath, every Sunday (52 of them) of the year in a creek. This morning was 3* F. He was born 100 years later than he should have been.
He could win any real survivor show if the producers would just drop them off in the most desolate place and give him a radio to be used only one time for, "come and get me, I give up.". An amazing person.

Them survivor shows are funny to begin with - a crew of cameramen - lightmen - nurses - etc - are all hidden behind the camera - all you see is somebody "dying in mud" or sumpting as silly 😂

I'd rather spend my time @ LTG 🐾

I am with you. How can it be survival and be filmed?? Drop 'em off and don't come back until you get that "I give up call "

In WW II, my father was stationed on the north shore of Iceland, and said they went swimming almost every day. Of course, the water temperature was probably in the 90s. He said it was cold for the few feet from the barracks to the spring. The barracks was also heated by the spring.

A few years back I did a short charity swim in the North Sea on what was reckoned to be the coldest day (based on historical readings). That only averages at about 6 °C (43 °F) though

Look into Wim Hof, he is the pioneer in the field, cold plunges are good for the body.
